What is the Story of Ayodhya Kand Part I?
Having
gone through this unique mythological book in simple language, we’ve noticed
that it simply shows us the importance of mythological characters and their
emotions. The book tells why and how King Dasharatha is insisted by Queen
Kaikayi to expel his eldest son called Prince Rama. However, people of city
Ayodhya thoroughly condemn her act, and even King also tried to influence queen
Kaikeyi, but couldn’t get success.
On
the other hand, in order to safeguard his father’s promise, Lord Rama accepts
the decision of queen Kaikayi. He decides to leave the city to move towards
jungle. Subsequently, he was joined by his concert Sita and younger brother
Laxmana. Both Sita and Laxmana decide to follow lord Rama during his exile.
When Lord Rama was leaving the city, all the people in the city became very sad
and requested him to leave the idea of leaving the city. Lord Rama explains his
problem and saying that being a member of Rakhukul family he has to follow the
promise till his death.
